Purple Trumpet Trees

One of the most striking sights in Dongguan is the blooming purple trumpet trees (Tabebuia impetiginosa), which have transformed parts of the Dongjiang River area into a sea of purple. These trees, with their drooping clusters of vibrant purple flowers, resemble soft clouds of color, creating a surreal atmosphere.

Visitors can take a stroll along the newly renovated waterfront in Guancheng, which offers stunning views of the Wolong Bridge (卧龙桥). The golden reflection of the bridge in the sunlight is an added treat, making it an excellent spot for photography.
