Running through innovation and nature

Dongguan, known as a city of history, tourism, and proudly recognized as the "Capital of Art Toys in China" and an international hub of manufacturing, invites runners to experience a unique race that blends technology, culture, and ecology.

As the heart of Dongguan's innovation engine, Songshan Lake Science City offers a "tech + eco" course where the pulse of innovation meets the rhythm of running. The area encompasses an 8-square-kilometer freshwater lake and 14 square kilometers of green space, making it one of China's most striking blends of modern innovation and natural charm.

The 2025 course begins on Libin Road and finishes at the Songshan Lake Cultural Art District. Along the way, runners will pass landmarks such as the Songshan Lake Innovation and Technology Park, Huawei's iconic Sanyapo campus, the Great Bay University, and the scenic "Songhu Yanyu," a national 4A-level attraction. Participants will not only race but also share in the city’s spirit of progress and vitality.

On November 30, just as the pink silk floss trees come into bloom, 13,000 runners will set off against the backdrop of shimmering waters and rolling green hills, weaving their way through a landscape that embodies both scientific ambition and natural beauty.
