Construction of Dongguan's second Sam's Club has reached an important milestone ahead of schedule.

Located in the central business district of Houjie Town, the Houjie Sam's Club project recently completed its structural topping-out in early February, more than two months earlier than originally planned, according to the project manager. The milestone had initially been scheduled for May.

The project is situated in Hetian Community. With a total investment of about RMB 491 million, the development covers a planned land area of approximately 43,446 square meters, with a total floor area of about 66,449 square meters.

The store will take the form of a three-story standalone building. The first floor will feature a retail space of about 21,000 square meters, while the second and third floors will serve as parking areas with more than 1,000 parking spaces, aiming to provide shoppers with a convenient one-stop retail experience.

According to earlier plans, the Houjie Sam's Club is expected to open by the end of this year.
