On the morning of September 8, the launching ceremony for Dongguan Embodied Intelligence Training Center and the 2026 Dongguan City Artificial Intelligence Trainer Competition was held at Dongguan Data Annotation Industrial Park.

Dongguan Embodied Intelligence Training Center serves as a core platform for driving the upgrading of manufacturing through embodied intelligence. In phaseⅠ, Wanjiang Subdistrict has invested 50 million yuan in the project, which covers a planned area of 5,000 square meters and is equipped with over 100 new devices for data collection without a physical body. Additional equipment will continue to be deployed in the future. 

Dongguan Artificial Intelligence Trainer Competition and the Healthcare Industry Model and Data Co-creation Center were launched simultaneously, which integrate data annotation, model training and validation, talent development, and the commercialization of research outcomes.

Ten technology companies planning to move into phase II signed agreements on-site. After touring the industrial park, Song Junxian, Chairman of Guangdong Yangguang Data Management Co., Ltd. remarked: “Dongguan is evolving from a major application hub into a smart manufacturing powerhouse. Leveraging its data asset capabilities, our company will pursue deep synergies with the embodied intelligence industry.”
