The 2026 Humen Half Marathon will start at 7:30 a.m. on Sunday, December 27. Both the start and finish lines are at the East Gate of Humen Park. Registration is now open and will close at 4 p.m. on November 16, with lottery results announced in late November.

The half-marathon course winds past local landmarks including Humen Avenue, Zhenyuan Bridge, Ring Road, the Opium War Museum and Weiyuan Fort. Along the way, runners will experience Humen's modern cityscape and historic heritage, discovering the town's past and present with every stride.

After the race, runners can wander through the old streets to taste the Baisha Cured Duck and fresh seafood, and experience the welcoming, down-to-earth charm of Humen. 

From December 18 to 27, Humen will host a marathon carnival, themed markets, and other cultural, tourism and commercial activities, offering runners and visitors an even richer experience.
