2026 Dongguan Private Entrepreneurs’ Day·Dongguan Entrepreneurs (Overseas Chinese Entrepreneurs) Convention will be held from October 31 to November 1. This is the first time Dongguan has combined its Private Entrepreneurs’ Day, the Dongguan Entrepreneurs Convention, and the Overseas Chinese Entrepreneurs Convention into one event. Dongguan held a press conference on October 20.

The convention will bring together more than 1,000 guests, including Dongguan entrepreneurs, overseas Chinese entrepreneurs, commerce associations, experts and scholars, and corporate representatives.

Starting in October, 34 towns and districts across the city will launch more than 100 supporting events, ranging from government-enterprise roundtable meetings to “AI + Manufacturing” supply chain matchmaking sessions. November 1 will serve as the main event day.

The projects to be signed are mainly industrial investment projects  in sectors such as semiconductors and integrated circuits, artificial intelligence, new materials, and new energy. 

Dongguan’s private economy accounts for more than 60% of the city’s total imports and exports, nearly 70% of tax revenue, more than 80% of innovation achievements and more than 90% of business entities.
