Starting from 6:00 AM March 27, all inbound travelers to Guangdong (including travelers from Hong Kong SAR, Macao SAR, Chinese Taiwan, and transfer travelers) are required to accept nucleic acid tests and to undergo a 14-day quarantine for medical observation at designated venues.

The quarantine expenses shall be paid by passengers themselves.

Workers of specific industries that guarantee the normal production and life in Hong Kong and Macao, cross-border drivers and crew members who transport urgent-needed goods to Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao, will not be placed under quarantine temporarily. However, all shall undertake nucleic acid tests.  

Guangdong will pay close attention to overseas epidemic development, and enhance communication and cooperation with Hong Kong and Macao, so as to further strengthen prevention and control of imported COVID-19 cases.
