According to a new report, the "Tourism Willingness Survey Report for the Second Half of 2020" from C-trip, one of the world's leading online travel agencies based in China, people's willingness to travel in the second half of 2020 is increasing significantly in the country.

In terms of specific months, July, October, and August will see the largest number of people choosing to travel. Meanwhile, destinations, including Yunnan, Hainan, Guangdong, and Hunan provinces, are the most popular domestic destinations among vacationers. 

The survey results show that consumers are willing to spend more time and expenses on travel and vacationing, especially for domestic long-distance travel. Over 57% of respondents said that if outbound travel does not recover this year, they would consider increasing their domestic travel frequency.

Thousands of participants from more than 50 major cities in China, including Nanjing, Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Wuhan, and Guangzhou, participated in the C-trip tourism survey with men accounting for 37.5% and women accounting for 62.5% of respondents.
