Guangdong CDC: these people should take COVID-19 test within 48 hours

The Chinese mainland on Monday reported nine new locally transmitted COVID-19 cases, the National Health Commission said in its daily report on Tuesday, according to Xinhua. Of the new local cases, five were reported in Shaanxi, two in Inner Mongolia, and one each in Hunan and Ningxia.

Given the resurgence of new locally transmitted COVID-19 cases, on October 19, Guangdong CDC issued a notice, suggesting residents who have come to Guangdong from out of the province since the National Day holiday to take a nucleic acid test within 48 hours. 

The following residents in Guangdong are requested to immediately report to their community (village), working units, or hotels, and cooperate with local epidemic responses including nucleic acid testing.

I. Individuals who have been to Ejina Qi, Alashan Meng in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region (内蒙古自治区阿拉善盟额济纳旗), especially those who have been to Tongnange (桐楠阁) Restaurant in Dalaihubu Town, Ejina Qi.

II. Individuals who have been to Xi'an city, Shaanxi province and Lanzhou city, Gansu province since October 15.

III. Individuals who have been to Zhangye city, Gansu province since October 2; those who have been to Jiayuguan city, Gansu province since October 14.

Key populations should receive nucleic acid testing immediately

If your health code is yellow, please go to the nearest medical institutions for testing immediately.

If your health code is red, please contact your local community health service center as soon as possible, to cooperate with health workers to complete information verification and health management.
