Recently, Qingyuan Maglev Transportation announced that the Qingyuan Maglev Tourism Dedicated Line will initially operate soon.

The Line adopts a new generation of medium-low-speed maglev train technology, utilizing normal conduction electromagnetic suspension and on-board short stator linear motor traction technology, with a maximum operating speed of 120 km/h.

The initial operating route spans approximately eight kilometers, connecting the Guangqing Intercity Yinzhan Railway Station and the Qingyuan Chimelong Scenic Area, with three stations: Maglev Yinzhan Station, Hudie Bay Station, and Maglev Chimelong Station. The entire journey takes approximately 12 minutes.

Earlier this year, Qingyuan Maglev Transportation launched a trial ride event, operating six trial trains daily over 16 days, traveling between Maglev Yinzhan Station and Maglev Chimelong Station. During the trial rides, a total of 103 passenger trains were operated (including seven additional trains), serving 12,872 trial riders.

Throughout the trial ride event, the trains maintained punctuality, and operational parameters met standards. The equipment operated smoothly without any incidents affecting train operations, and passenger services were orderly and normal.

After the trial ride event, Qingyuan Maglev Transportation reviewed relevant opinions and suggestions, striving to provide passengers with better services and a more convenient and comfortable riding experience. The company is fully prepared for the official operation, dedicated to creating a safe, reliable, accessible, and convenient maglev tourism transportation network.
