China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, or MIIT, has announced a series of measures to expand automobile consumption. This includes launching new pilot programs for the full electrification of public-sector vehicles.
The Ministry will guide more financial resources toward technological innovation, advanced manufacturing, green development and support for small and micro enterprises. The ministry aims to foster emerging industries such as the low-altitude economy, commercial space, and bio-manufacturing. It also wants to speed up the growth of domestic demand and expand international markets to strengthen the country's consumer electronics industry.

Continue to carry out campaigns promoting new energy vehicles in rural areas, launch new pilot programs for the full electrification of public-sector vehicles, and develop guidelines for battery swapping models for NEVs, with the goal of actively expanding automobile consumption."
