On April 2, more than 100 veterans in Dongguan paid tribute to the martyrs at Yuanbao Mountain in Dongguan People' s Park. After bowing to the martyrs' monument, each of the veterans presented a chrysanthemum flower to express their deep respect.

Ahead of this year's Tomb-sweeping Day, also known as Qingming Festival, which falls on April 4, people in Dongguan City expressed, in various ways, their admiration for the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the nation and people.
