The Dongguan Science & Technology Museum launched a "red memory" project for people to learn about the Party history in an immersive way.
This year marks the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China. Recently, the Dongguan Science & Technology Museum innovatively launched a "red memory" project for people to learn about the history of the Party's formation in an immersive way.
There are 12 rooms in this project, with different scenes based on classic clips from 7 red movies, such as "The Letter with Feathers", "Sparkling Red Star" and "Tunnel Warfare", as well as the true story of how the Dongjiang River column army of Guangdong's anti-Japan guerrilla rescued Lieutenant Donald W. Kerr, a fighter pilot in the US Army's Air Force. Walking into the room, one can see the cottage, wooden door, the old-fashioned wood-burning kitchen range, which is like reliving the actual scene of the red age.
The participants need to use their knowledge of Party history and thinking skills with team-spirit to complete the "revolutionary task." For example, in one of the rooms where the furnishing and scene of the red movie "The Eternal Wave" are copied, it is so vivid that one may feel as if he/she were right on the scene. To pass this level to the next level, participants must find a telegraph transmitter used for revolutionary work.
