Two close contacts of a COVID-19 confirmed case in Putian of Fujian Province have been to Changping Town, Dongguan City from Sept.6 to Sept. 7, 2021, according to a notice issued by the COVID-19 emergency command office of Quanzhou Taiwan Investment Zone in Fujian Province yesterday. Dongguan Center for Disease Control and Prevention released more details today (Sept.15).
The two close contacts, women aged 42 and 67, are not residents in Dongguan and currently lives in Xiamen City, Fujian Province. At present, both of them are under quarantine in an isolation hotel in Quanzhou City, Fujian Province. They both tested negative for COVID-19 on September 13.
The two close contacts travelled together to same places in Dongguan.
September 6 (Monday)
11:37-13:00, took train D3333 to Shenzhen North Railway Station(深圳北站), and then took a private car to the Vienna Hotel in Longhua District, Shenzhen (Shenzhen North Railway Station branch)-深圳龙华区维也纳酒店(深圳北站店);
13:00-15:00, took a private car from Vienna Hotel in Longhua District, Shenzhen (Shenzhen North Railway Station branch) to Jinyi Clothing Co., Ltd., Changping Town, Dongguan City(常平镇晋亿服装有限公司);
15:00-18:00, at Jinyi Clothing Co., Ltd. in Changping Town, Dongguan City;
At around 18:00, had dinner on the 2nd floor of Yihao International Hotel, Changping Town(常平镇逸豪国际酒店), and then checked into the hotel.
September 7 (Tuesday)
7:00-9:00, had breakfast on the 1st floor of Yihao International Hotel, Changping Town;
9:00-12:00, at Jinyi Clothing Co., Ltd. in Changping Town, Dongguan City;
12:00-12:40, returned to Yihao International Hotel, Changping Town;
12:40-14:00, dined at Changsheng Seafood Restaurant (Huihua Branch) in Changping Town-常平镇常胜海鲜酒家（汇华店）;
At around 14:00, took a private car to Shenzhen North Railway Station and then took the train back to Quanzhou, Fujian Province.
So far, 6 close contacts of these two close contacts in Dongguan and 14 general contacts as well as 556 key personnel have been identified, and corresponding health management measures have been implemented. A total of 576 samples from personnel and 70 environmental samples from key venues were collected, all of which were negative for COVID-19. The city has taken corresponding control measures for relevant key places and personnel.
Dongguan CDC reminds that those who have visited any of the above-mentioned places at the same time period to go to the nearby nucleic acid sampling site for nucleic acid testing with proper personal protection and strengthen self-health monitoring. If they have symptoms such as fever, fatigue, cough and a diminished sense of taste or smell, they should report to the community immediately, wear medical masks, go to the nearest fever clinic as soon as possible, and avoid public transportation when seeking medical treatment.
