Foreign nationals aged 12-17 can be vaccinated against COVID-19 in Dongguan

In accordance with the national and provincial policies on COVID-19 vaccination, and as arranged by the Dongguan Municipal COVID-19 Prevention and Control Headquarter, the vaccination against COVID-19 for foreign nationals aged 12-17 in Dongguan will be carried out in an orderly manner.

I. Vaccination sites

At present, foreign nationals aged 12-17 in Dongguan can get the COVID-19 vaccine at one of the three designated vaccination sites, namely Dongguan People’s Hospital (Wanjiang Campus), Dongguan Donghua Hospital and Dongghua Hospital (Songshan Lake Campus).

II. Booking an appointment for COVID-19 vaccine

In accordance with the relevant provincial guidelines and in line with the principles of “informed, voluntary, at your own expense and risk”, foreign nationals aged 12-17 in Dongguan will be vaccinated through centralized vaccination mainly and with individual appointments as a supplement. Vaccination appointments shall be made as follows.

(i) Priority will be given to group appointments for foreign students on a school basis. The education management center of each district and town (sub-district) will collect the vaccination needs of schools at all levels within its jurisdiction (including schools directly under Dongguan municipal government and schools for children of foreign nationals) and contact the hospitals responsible for COVID-19 vaccination to make arrangements.

(ii) Children of foreign nationals employed or living in Dongguan can apply for group appointments to the economic development bureau of their local district or town (sub-district).

(iii) Foreign nationals aged 12-17 in Dongguan who do not choose to make group appointments can also make individual appointments through the WeChat mini program of “Yuejiantong” .
