Since March 11, Dongguan has completed two rounds of mass PCR testing among all residents. Currently, there are 8 Townships and Districts with local confirmed cases. The epidemic prevention and control situation is still severe but controllable across the board. In order to maintain epidemic prevention and control in a strict and meticulous manner, coordinate both epidemic containment and economic and social development, ensure the security and stability of the industrial chain and supply chain, and return to normal life and work in a stable and well-regulated way, it is decided that Townships and Districts with no local confirmed case shall fully implement the epidemic prevention and control measures in a normalized fashion, continue to encourage and guide enterprises in maintaining epidemic prevention and control, improve enterprise-oriented services, take multiple measures to address the problems and difficulties of enterprises, and make every effort to pursue the normal production and operation of enterprises. Public transportation (bus and subway) operation shall be resumed since March 18, 6 am so as to ensure the normal life and work of people. Townships and Districts with no local confirmed case shall adopt epidemic prevention and control measures in a well-targeted manner, strive to achieve the greatest containment effect at the least cost, and minimize the adverse impact of the epidemic on economic and social development. It is imperative to implement differentiated epidemic prevention and control measures in comply with different Townships and Districts, targeting different areas with different risk levels, case by case, so as to ensure the essential production and operation of enterprises. With strengthened overall coordination, we will spare no effort to ensure normalized transportation and logistic services. The above measures shall come into effect starting March 18.
