Liu Jingtang: changing the western perception of Chinese food

Liu Jingtang, whose ancestral hometown is Shilong, is a famous cook in Australia who has been awarded the Chef's Hat for 11 consecutive years. Due to high demand and the attractive presentation of his dishes, his Chinese restaurants revised local impressions of Chinese dishes. Liu expressed that he was very proud and glad to contribute to the development and promotion of Chinese cuisine abroad. Since 2014, Liu has also served as chairman of Coon Yee Tong of Dongguan Fellows Association in Australia. He changed Coon Yee Tong of Dongguan Fellow Association into Coon Yee Tong Ltd, thereby preventing Coon Yee Tong from being regulated by local authorities. Assets are handed down through generations to preserve their cultural integrity.
