Liu Weishen, whose ancestral hometown is Chashan, is a second generation Singaporean Chinese. Liu's family businesses span construction, mining, jewellery, real estate, logistics & warehouse, and import and export trading industries. All enjoy a decent reputation in the country. He and his family returned to Chashan to build roads, schools and plants. Liu's family have invested nearly 700 million RMB to build Chashan Eco Food Hub, which they hope to develop into a procurement center for import foods in South China, and will perhaps also establish a platform for further international economic and trade exchanges.
