As the holiday ends, Guangdong saw a return travel peak starting from February 17th. Before getting ready for your day at work in the Year of Ox, here are some of the things you need to know.

If you have been to the medium- and high-risk areas in China within the last 14 days or traveled overseas within the last 21 days, you need to:

1) receive NAT (nucleic acid testing) in a timely manner before departure,

2) inform your company, community, or the hotel you have booked for your stay at the province immediately after arrival,

3) avoid going to crowed public places and protect yourself by wearing a mask and monitoring your body temperature all the time,

4) report your health information at Yuekang Code through the Wechat Mini program Yueshengshi (Chinese: 粤省事).

If you are coming back to Guangdong from other regions in the cities with medium- and high-risk areas, you need to be tested for COVID-19 one week before leaving your destination.

If you work in the field of public transportation, hotel, supermarket and other lines of services, you need to wear masks and be extra careful about personal hygiene.
