With the approaching Spring Festival travel rush (January 28th - March 8th), China Railway Guangzhou Group recently announced that some trains' service would be halted.

There will be 26 trains out of service during this period, including 7 departing from Dongguan Station and Dongguan East Station, which are K4360 Dongguan East - Fuyang, 3310 Dongguan East - Nanchang, K4292 Dongguan East - Nanchang, K4502 Dongguan East - Wuchang, K6634 Dongguan - Hengyang, K6566 Dongguan - Huaihua and K6558 Dongguan - Yongzhou.

The number of trains running between Dongguan and Huizhou will increase significantly during the travel rush. From Monday to Friday, 16 pairs, totaling 32 trains, will operate, an increase of 8 trips over the peak period last year, including 15 trains from Xiaojinkou to Dongguan West and 17 trains in the opposite direction. On weekends, there will be 20 pairs (40 trains) moving in rotation, with 19 trains in and 21 trains out.

To make it easier for passengers to buy tickets, from January 1st, 12306.cn, the Railways Ministry's official ticketing website, has extended service hours from 6:00-23:30 to 5:00-23:30. Passengers who bought tickets on the website can apply online for refunds before their departure time.
